Melalui program Konosuba Radio Episode 28, para seiyuu seri ini mengumumkan bahwa sebuah anime gres untuk Konosuba sedang dalam pengerjaan. Para seiyuu sendiri nampaknya sama kagetnya dengan saya atas pengumuman ini.

Berhubung sudah dikatakan bahwa proyek barunya berupa shin anime kita tidak perlu khawatir proyek gres ini malah berupa drama panggung, game, atau pachinko. Masih belum terang apa format dari anime gres ini, selain season ketiganya sanggup saja kita kedapatan sebuah movie atau spin-off. Beberapa screenshot dari OVA terbaru juga mengatakan adegan dari volume 5 LN-nya.
